Our tuition at Red Fox is comparable with other area independent schools.

Tuition Assistance

Socioeconomic diversity is a priority at Red Fox Community School. We are committed to working with every family that applies to find a tuition package that works for them. 100% of families requesting tuition assistance receive it. Once your child has applied and been accepted to RFCS we will share information about applying for tuition assistance.

Sending Towns

As of May 2018, Red Fox Community School is now an approved Vermont Independent School! We are now able to accept funds from towns that provide tuition for students in grades K-6. If you live in North Bennington, Sandgate,  Winhall, or other towns which do not run a municipal elementary school you may be eligible for your child's RFCS tuition to be paid by your town. Frequently Asked Questions

What is Red Fox's progressive approach to education?
At Red Fox Community School we teach children how to learn. Children learn to understand themselves as learners and to advocate for what they need in order to learn best. By placing an emphasis on the process of learning, students become life-long learners and stewards of their own education. This progressive approach to teaching and learning values the whole child, giving each student the space and time to learn and grow as an individual both social-emotionally and academically.

How is Red Fox 'community minded'?
At Red Fox we explicitly teach kindness and respect. Our students learn to support one another whole-heartedly, every day. We also expect our families to regularly engage in and actively support our school community. This includes hosting school events, chaperoning field trips, volunteering in our classrooms, and more.

Red Fox Community School admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.
