“In the past few weeks we have been doing Writer’s Workshop. Writer’s workshop is a class where we write sometimes with prompts and sometimes just stories. Dianne comes up and helps with the classes or helps people with their stories. I have a ton of ideas and so does everyone else. Everyone enjoys it.”-Eden

“Yesterday, we had a great writer’s workshop. We were writing stories. Zooey was writing a historical fiction book. I was writing historical fiction too. Addis is writing about kids that are elves. Nic is writing about Jeffanater. Colby is writing about an African bull. Eden is writing a fiction book about creatures. Caleb is writing about his best Saturday ever. “This week we got new math games including a game called Farkle. Farkle is a little bit like Yahtzee but you play it with 6 dice and the object is to score 10,000 points. Not 10 points, not 100 points, not 1,000 points! 10,000 points! Another game we got is to double twelve dominoes. I don’t know how to play. I think we got other games…I think….P.S the Farkle dice rattling are REALLY loud.”-Addis

“Today, Logan is visiting. He will be coming this afternoon at the second outside time. I’m going to be his host which means I will be showing him around and introducing him. The reason I will be his host is because I know him and Karen thinks he will be more comfortable with someone he knows. I hope he comes to this school.”-Zooey
